Frequently asked questions
What are the benefits of vehicle wrapping?
Vehicle wrapping is an extremely cost effective form of advertising.
How long does a vehicle wrap last?
A professionally applied vehicle wrap and Vehicle graphics using quality materials typically will last around 5 years and will not fade during this period. Check with us what the life span is of your chosen material.
How long does it take to wrap my van or car?
A car wrap or a full van wrap will take about 2 days. Signwriting is a lot quicker and a half van wrap can be easily done in a day.
What materials do you use?
We endeavour to use only the best available wrapping films and our preferred materials are manufactured by Avery Dennison, 3M, Oracal, KPMF, Hexis and Teckwrap.
Is the vehicle wrap easy to remove?
Yes the materials we use are of a high quality and you will not have to pay for them to be removed, we can instruct you on removing the graphics yourself or if you prefer we can remove the wrap for a fee.
How do I wash the vehicle once it's wrapped?
We recommend that you wash your vehicle either by hand or jet wash from a distance. We advise against mechanical car washes and always take care when using chemicals or detergents to clean your car.
Will the wrap damage my paintwork?
During the application process our fully trained and approved application technicians are careful not to damage the vehicle and we do not cut directly on the paintwork. However you do need to ensure that your vehicles paintwork is of a sound and OEM quality. If you already have stone chips, abrasions or rust patches on your paintwork it is important to remember that when the vinyl is removed it may pull loose paint of with it. Quite often, accident repairs, and especially the painting process, are not carried out to the original manufacturers exacting standards. We cannot offer any form of guarantee against paint or lacquer lifting during the removal of a wrap unless we have provided this in writing prior to the wrap being applied.
Can you collect my vehicle?
We can provide a collection/delivery service at competitive rates using nationwide drivers.
Do I need to inform my insurers or DVLA?
You should advise your insurance company this way should you be in the unfortunate position of having an accident or need to claim on your insurance then they are aware of the costs and materials that will need to be replaced. The DVLA should only be contacted should the car be a permanent colour change. As vehicle wraps are temporary there is no need to advise them of your wrap.
Can you design my vehicle wrap?
Yes! We offer a full design service including wrap design, vehicle graphics/signwriting as well as full logo and branding for your business.
